Hats off to Coach G.A. Mangus who has opened up I-95 as the recruiting road for the Gamecocks. This supports the theory that the Gamecocks should recruit North/South as the easternmost SEC team. By doing so, the competition switches from all the other SEC schools to the ACC and Big East and the Gamecocks become the SEC voice in the region. Coach Mangus will bring 3 of the top New Jersey prospects down I-95 to Columbia and with former Florida offensive coordinator Steve Addazio getting the Temple job, Mangus is now the top northeast recruiter in the Southeastern conference.
