What a game Friday night at Wofford as South Pointe travelled to take on Spartanburg on ESPN2. Ryan called the game for radio and got to shoot the bull with ESPN's recruiting expert Tom Luginbill. I have not seen a high school game with so many bone crushing hits well,.....ever. On Spartanburg's 91 yard interception return, the Clary call went like this- "to the 50, the 40, the 30 GO GO GO Touchdown!" Awesome call that was closely followed by the call of the blocked field goal by the Vikings with 2 minutes to go. Former Spartanburg Viking, Auburn Tiger, Carolina Panther, St. Louis Ram, and Washington Redskin, Stephen Davis, joined Ryan and Uncle Matt in the press box for the 3rd quarter. Davis is a super nice guy. He spoke about Marcus Lattimore calling and asking his advice about where to go to school. Davis told him to follow his heart. Hated to see the Vikes lose in OT by trying to go for 2. Tough way to lose an unbelievable game. Jadeveon Clowney is for real. To say he is fast would be an understatement. Gerald Dixon had a big game, but he was blocked by a RB most of the night, not Maryland right tackle commit Stephen Grommer.
