South Carolina fans thank the Braves for inking Vanderbilt closer Navory Moore to a contract yesterday. Moore is a flame throwing right hander who is unhittable at times. Prize prospect Randall Delgado got promoted to AAA Gwinnett last week and responded with a win, 9 Ks, and only 3 hits allowed in his 6 inning outing. 2011 1st round draft pick, Sean Gilmartin, debuted for the GCL Braves and went two innings. The two runs he gave up are half as much as everyone's favorite Brave, Kenshin Kawakami, gave up in one inning of work. SS Tyler Pastornicky continues to pound AAA pitching since his call up, raising his average to .390 while hitting safely in every game this past week. On the flip side, we gave a collective hmm when Nick Ahmed was selected in the 2nd round this year. After starting off ok, Ahmed's is Mr. Freeze cold right now, hitting .077 last week and seeing his average drop to .236.
